From its elevated position on our second floor this seaside chic penthouse allows you to enjoy unspoilt 180 degree views of Falmouth’s town and harbour.
Designed to showcase the beautiful town and harbour of Falmouth whilst providing you with comfort, space and modern day luxuries.
You can check to see when Rick Stein’s is open or which new boats have arrived in the harbour that day. By night see the harbour lights across the water or lie under the roof window and do some star gazing.
The lounge area has a 3 seater sofa and offers a 32″ Digital/DVD & TV to watch if, on the rare occasion you’re not looking out at the view. For real luxury, remote control lighting means you don’t have to get up from your seat or bed if you don’t want to.
This open plan room comes with a super king size bed for the ultimate sleep: a pocket sprung mattress in a low base so you can see out to the view, and large ensuite with a walk in shower big enough for two.
This is the largest room in the house and is absolutely perfect for a long stay or a short stay treat.
If you want that something special then why not book this room, it’s like having your own amphitheatre surrounded by Falmouth.
A little Note: so called “The Penthouse” as Room 7 is at the top of the house and is the best room in the house. This does mean that you will need to think about another room if you think you might struggle with stairs. We put a new bed into this room in the 2018 refurb which is a hard divan base so although it’s 20 centimetres lower than our other beds, it is still supportive for those who need to think about health concerns. But……the extra 12 steps mean mega gorgeous views. For any real concerns please consider room 2 which is totally fancy and on the 1st floor. You are always best to call us so we can help you fully.

All stays are room only until you book a breakfast either at INDIdog our restaurant or an In Room breakfast here at Highcliffe B&B. Breakfast is a surcharge of +£5pppn

We will ask you for the first nights stay as a non refundable deposit payable by debit card.

We will also ask you for your mobile number, address, name and email, any special requirements & if you have allergies to our feather bedding.

Terms & Conditions
To secure an advance reservation we ask for a deposit of the first nights stay (full payment if staying one night) which is non-refundable at time of booking.Deposits can be paid with a debit card. Card details will be kept securely and used in case of cancellation or alteration. They are destroyed securely upon your departure. We are PCI compliant.
We do not accept AMEX, cheque, bank transfer or postal order.
The remaining balance is payable during your stay.
When cancellation or alteration occurs less than 21 days before stay or 6 weeks before stay for 7 night stay bookings or more, full payment of the duration of the stay is due.
Alterations must not be less than the minimum stay requirements; 3 night minimum during April to October and 2 night minimum over Friday & Saturday during November to March.
Bookings are non transferable / you are not able to cancel and give your holiday to a friend.
No exceptions will be made to the terms and conditions.
No reason for cancellation is ever a nice one and often arises because of devastating personal circumstance or a change of plan last minute. Please remove the costly problem of cancelling your holiday by taking out insurance at point of booking, however unlikely you think your cancellation may be. Please understand that you were made aware of these terms at time of booking in order for us to save your room for you. Please don’t ask us to waver our terms and conditions. Any verbal abuse will be reported.
Travel insurance will cover you for your deposit and the cost of the holiday. Please don’t put more pressure on yourself and make sure you are insured.
