To secure an advance reservation we ask for a non refundable deposit of the first nights stay per room, (full payment if staying one night) at time of booking.
Deposits can be paid with a debit card. Card details will be kept securely and used in case of cancellation or alteration. They are destroyed securely upon your departure. Highcliffe is PCI Compliant.
We do not accept AMEX, cheque, bank transfer or postal order.
The remaining balance is payable during your stay.
When cancellation or alteration occurs less than 21 days before stay or 6 weeks before stay for 7 night stay bookings or more, full payment of the duration of the stay is due.
Alterations must not be less than the minimum stay requirements; 3 night minimum during April to October and 2 night minimum over Friday & Saturday during November to March.
Bookings are non transferable / you are not able to cancel and give your holiday to a friend.
No exceptions will be made to the terms and conditions.
No reason for cancellation is ever a nice one and often arises because of devastating personal circumstance or a change of plan last minute. Please remove the costly problem of cancelling your holiday by taking out insurance, however unlikely you think your cancellation may be. PLEASE TAKE OUT INSURANCE AS SOON AS YOU BOOK in order to cover yourself fully. Please understand that you were made aware of these terms at time of booking in order for us to save your room for you. Please don’t ask us to waver our terms and conditions. Verbal abuse will be reported.
Travel insurance will cover you for your deposit and the cost of the holiday. Please don’t put more pressure on yourself and make sure you are insured. Travel insurance for UK based holidays can be as little as £6.00 per person, please consider this option. Try www.comparethemarket.com or www.gocompare.com for a variety of insurance quotes. Again cover your holiday straight away: buy insurance as soon as you’ve booked your stay and your travel.
Please note: in a case of unforseen circumstance, Highcliffe B&B may need to reallocate you to another room. If we need to cancel your holiday we will fully refund you. No further payment other than the cost of your stay with Highcliffe will be made.
