We Love

We may be biased, however Falmouth truly is one of the best places to visit in the world because of its unique positioning.

On one side you have the sea with Falmouth bay stretching as far as the eye can see rolling onto Gyllyngvase beach. On the other you have Falmouth Harbour reputedly the third largest natural deep water harbour in the world, marina’s filled with leisure yachts and motor boats, restaurants, bars and shops, making it seem like you’re getting numerous options for the one location.

Busy all year round due to its 22,000 residents, busy commercial port, tourists, thriving university and sailing community, Falmouth is just as appealing in the winter as it is in the summer. Not only is Falmouth a lovely place to visit it was also voted by The Times readers as the 2016 Best Place to Live.

Attractions

Award winning attractions such as The Maritime Museum or Pendennis Castle will give you a real flavour of the history and present day role that Falmouth plays as a gateway to Britain from the seas.

Steeped in nautical history, Falmouth has heaps to show and tell its visitors all year round. A busy harbour, working docks and super yacht building yard make for a very hectic, exciting and important port.

Add to this the award winning restaurants open all year round, providing visitors to Falmouth with an incredible culinary experience as well as boutique clothing stores, eclectic mix of shops and Gallery’s (more information is provided on our link page of these) making there something for everyone who steps into Falmouth: a very progressive yet naturally beautiful town.
